With the days getting shorter, and leaves starting to fall, that little bit of crispness in the air in the morning and evening, you start to notice Autumn creeping in.  I know, I know it feels like Summer had just started, but alas seasons must change, but we are excited about the start of Autumn at Garside’s Farm.  Why you ask, that means more apples will be available!  So many of our Fall and Winter Apples will start to be harvested in the coming weeks.  We will also have more of our vegetable products available soon including several varieties of squash, potatoes, carrots, and kale.

The fruit we have coming soon is our King, Bramley, Boskoop and Spartan Apples, and Anjou Pears.  We will start picking all these over the next few weeks and will update our social medias and website as soon as they become available.  If you would like to pre-order any of these apples, we welcome and recommend it, especially if you are needing a specific quantity. Contact us to arrange an order anytime.  Upcoming vegetables are Spaghetti, Kabocha, Butternut and Delicata Squash, Potatoes, Shallots, Beets, and tomatoes.

Currently available at Garside’s Farm is Gravenstein Apples, Bartlett Pears, Italian Prune Plums, Russian Red Garlic, Carrot and Kale bunches, Flower Bouquets, Zucchinis, and Acorn Squash.  Also available is a selection of our own Garside’s Farm preserves including a selection of jams, jellies, and salsa’s.  We also have our frozen Free Range Roasting Chickens available.

We are open 7 days a week for drop ins, you can also contact us via email, phone, Facebook, or our Contact Us form on our website to order, or if you even just have questions about any of our products or farm.  As a side note, we no longer offer Hazelnuts at our farm, unfortunately several years ago our trees were overrun with a blight and they no longer produce.  Perhaps in the future we will replant the blight resistant variety, but as of now we do not have any hazelnuts.
